Alyssa Reed traveled to Georgia Tech April 6-8 to compete in the US Masters Collegiate Club Swimming National Championships and made the finals in 3 of the 4 events she competed in, finishing 6th overall in both the 50 Fly (out of 278 national qualifiers) and 50 Back (out of 264 national qualifiers) while finishing 12th overall in the 100 IM (out of 296 national qualifiers). She also finished 27th in the 50 Free, missing out on the finals by less than 0.3 seconds. Her finishes gave Lynchburg 41 points which was good for 32nd in the country, beating out bigger schools such as University of Maryland, Auburn University, Rutgers University, UNC Wilmington, Michigan State, NC State among others.
